Our freight charge includes
shipping costs and insurance only.
For all shipments outside the United States, we do NOT
include taxes, custom fees, duties, broker fees or any other
costs that may be incurred.
Before signing for Freight:
1. Inspect freight thoroughly for evidence of damage or
mishandling.
2. Note any visible or audible damage on the delivery package.
3. Whenever possible, open the container or package and inspect the
contents while the delivery personnel are present.
In the event of damage:
1. Refuse the shipment.
- OR -
2. Sign for the shipment, making notes of any visible or audible
damage on the delivery receipt and call Gordon Graham at
360-871-8650.
If shipment is damaged
but is not refused or noted on the delivery receipt you may be
responsible for all the costs associated with a replacement
order. If the shipment is refused or is signed for
as damaged, you must contact our office
immediately.
Damage claims will not be accepted after five (5) days of
delivery. |
Installation Information
Please read and follow
carefully. Resources International is not responsible
for breakage during drilling, cutting, or installing of windshields.
Installing Tollycraft Windshields
Drilling and modifying drill bits:
Use a high speed steel drill and a specially
ground drill bit which can be purchased from an authorized Plexiglas dealer or
you can modify a standard drill bit as follows, using a standard disk or bench
grinder:

Always practice drilling
on old windshield before drilling in new windshield! |
1) Put wings in place and mark the
countersunk screw holes. Remove windshield, drill and counter sink
holes. Use medium pressure and place a block of wood behind the
windshield when drilling.
2) Put wings back on and fasten with 3
screws. Put center in place and mark where you want to cut (leave 1/8"
gap between sections for brace.) Put masking tape on windshield and heel
of saber saw to protect windshield from scratches. Cut sections to size
using saber saw or band saw and fine tooth blade with 10-14 teeth per inch.
Again, practice cutting on old windshield first!
3) Replace windshield and mark remaining
holes. Drill and install.
